About
I’m a Ph.D. student studying the area of evolutionary psychology at Swansea University, UK. My research interests involve the testing of evolutionary hypotheses regarding human mating behaviour in order to understand the selection pressures of our ancestral environment. Currently my research is concerned with the differences in mating strategies within and between the sexes, factors in ones environment which account for this variance and whether mating strategies themselves are reactive to environmental changes over short term periods. My secondary interest is that of cyber-psychology and online interaction; particularly how one represents oneself using internet avatars and aliases. Prior to my Ph.D. post I received a B.Sc.(Hons.) degree in Psychology from Cardiff University, Wales.
