I am presently working as a Lecturer in the School of Business and Economics, Swansea University. I lecture in Operations Management and Information Systems.

Prior to this I worked as a Research Fellow in an EU-funded project on Research e-Infrastructures < BELIEFII, http://www.beliefproject.org/ > and was based in the School of Information Systems, Computing and Mathematics, Brunel University. I have also worked as a Reserch Fellow in Healthcare Modelling and Simulation at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick.

My research interests are in Grid Computing, Parallel & Distributed Simulation, Healthcare Simulation, and interdisciplinary research in Computer Science, Information Systems and Simulation domains. I have considerable experience working on research projects with stakeholders from industry.

I enjoy doing collaborative research. I have found it to be extremely rewarding with regard to my intellectual development, in increasing my productivity for generating research ideas and outputs, and in forming lasting friendships.
