About
Dr. Troy L. Sagrillo is a Lecturer in Egyptology in the Department of History and Classics at Swansea University. His PhD on the reign of King Shoshenq I was completed in 2007 at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). He has also studied at the University of Toronto, the University of Arizona (MA Syro-Palestinian Archaeology), and the Kansas City Art Institute (BFA Illustration and Graphic Design).
Dr. Sagrillo’s primary interest is in the political history of pharaonic Egypt during the Third Intermediate and Late Periods (Dynasties 21–31), with an emphasis on international relations and Egypt under Libyan, Kushite, Assyrian, and Persian rule.
